The Pharaoh ant, Monomorium Pharaonis, is becoming more widespread in the UK due to our changing climate.

These ants have been brought in from the tropics, thriving in even temperate regions provided central heating is present.

This ant has many queens within a single colony, and if these colonies are disturbed will break up and will be almost impossible to control, being able to spread throughout your home and surrounding area.

Fact: The biggest known ant colony ranges from Portugal to Croatia stretching across a total distance of over 6000km.
